A few sneak peek images from Shannon & Seb’s fab wedding day at Wandsworth Town Hall and The Boathouse, Putney

S&S’s wedding took place on a blustery, chilly summers day along the Thames in London. The sun didn’t come out much but S&S and all their amazingly ‘up-for-it’ friends and family more than made up for that. This was my first time shooting a wedding at Wandsworth Town Hall and The Boathouse and it was such a good one! So many lovely moments; stunning buildings; iconic London stuff; wild and fun guests to shoot, a lovely couple. I enjoyed myself a lot!

Shannon’s wedding outfit was a stunning white dress with make up and hair by Hannah Gibbins; Seb and groomsman were very smartly dressed in blue suits and brightly coloured posh socks; bridesmaids were in powder pink dresses. They all looked amazing and ready for a big party : ).

Wandsworth Town Hall! What a beautiful place to get married…

…I lived just up the road from Wandsworth Town Hall for many years but had never seen inside. Wow, it is grand! So elegant with the huge art deco courtyard on arrival, the marble staircase (great for grabbing some couple shots, loads of natural light) leading you up to the extremely imposing Grand Chamber were Shannon & Seb got married : )

Other highlights from this Wandsworth wedding day

Bride and bridesmaids having the best time right from bride prep through to the dance floor time, and beyond no doubt; getting to grab some great bridal party shots of Shannon & Seb and their crew dancing and having fun after the ceremony in some rare sunshine on Wandsworth Park; grabbing more shots of the bridal party walking along the Thames and making a big entrance at The Boathouse; amazing food, always a highlight : ); very funny and touching speeches; Will Udall, quite literally a one man band, filling the dance floor (and keeping it filled for his entire set) with anthem after anthem and banger after banger; ‘dance offs’ on the dance floor; ‘sing offs’ on the dance floor…what a fun wedding this was to shoot!

A few sneak peek images from Helen & Dan’s sumptuous wedding day at Hampton Court House.

Helen & Dan’s wedding day was at one of my absolute favourite wedding venues, the stunning Hampton Court House. This time I was joined by Olliver Photography Ltd’s associate photographer Harp. Thanks Harp, see you soon!

Wedding Photography at Hampton Court House

 

The wedding day weather was meant to be a bit rubbish but Helen and Dan actually got lots and lots of lovely sunshine and, wow, did they pack a lot in. There was so many beautiful moments and details for me to capture from lots of crazy pink bridesmaids to flower girls in white and rowdy groomsman in blue; bucks fizz; tears running down expensive make up; a proud Dad in tears (even the cake…no I won’t do it!); selfies; TikTok videos…and that was just the bride prep!

How the wedding day at Hampton Court House went…

So, to tell you a little about the wedding day, Dan got ready across the water at his Dad’s house in East Molesey and Helen got ready at the stunning The Whyte Hart, Hotel. The ceremony took place in the elegant Main Hall at Hampton Court House followed by confetti and family group shots on the stunning steps that make for a very posh entrance to Hampton Court House. Helen and Dan took a quick 10 mins out from the reception to grab couple shots in the Rococo Gardens and in the spooky Shell Grotto. Delicious wedding food was then served by Parties to Go in the Great Dining Hall and, after a bouquet toss on yet more beautiful steps (photo of the lucky guest who caught the bouquet below), London DJ got the party going with Helen and Dan’s 1st Dance (“I want to be with you every where…”) followed by lots of dancing…which included someone actually dancing with Dan on their shoulders (as if Dan wasn’t tall enough) whilst downing a bottle of beer. Very impressive! Again, see photo evidence below : )
